Second Edition: Thomson Winter Collection

Thomson one of the UK’s leading tour operators, launch new destination-specific Egypt, Tunisia & Morocco brochures today. Following on from the Winter 2010/2011 brochure launches in February, updated editions are now available. These include new destinations, more all-inclusive resorts, more nine, ten, 11 and 12 night holidays and even more Kids Clubs than ever before.

NEW: EGYPT, TUNISIA & MOROCCO BROCHURES SHOWCASE NORTH AFRICA

Year-round Egypt, Tunisia & Morocco have been introduced and include two new destinations, Aswan in Egypt and Djerba in Tunisia.

Exclusive differentiated resorts also feature, such as Thomson’s Sensatori, Thomson Couples, Thomson Family Resorts.

This edition includes direct flights to Aswan, a new resort introduced to complement existing Nile Cruise holidays. Direct flights start in November, with Thomson being the only UK tour operator to offer this route.

Thomson customers can enjoy a three or four night cruise combined with a hotel stay at the 5T Iberotel Aswan, from £715 for seven nights. Aswan is also available for 14-night twin centre holidays combined with a week in Marsa Alam. The brand new 5T Sensatori Resort Sharm El Sheikh features in the new brochure as well as eight new units, including the Premier Le Reve, Hurgarda, part of the Thomson Couples collection.

A choice of twin centre holidays are also now available with Thomson across the destinations of Morocco, Egypt, and Tunisia.

FIRST WINTER FLIGHTS TO ANTALYA, TURKEY FOR 2010

Turkey continues to be in high demand and so Thomson have introduced holidays to Antalya for this Winter 2010/2011 in the Winter Collection and Winter Sun brochures respectively. Weekly flights will be from London Gatwick and Manchester with additional flights from Bristol and Glasgow during April 2011. APRIL 2011 START-UP DESTINATIONS

In addition to the five April 2011 start-up destinations announced in February, two new resorts have been added – Costa de la Luz and Costa Dorada, both in Spain. This means Thomson will now have a wide range of destinations on offer in April, including Crete, Rhodes, Lesbos, Larnaca, Dalaman, Neapolitan Riviera, Majorca***, the Algarve and Marsa Matruh, offering far greater choice for families looking for an Easter holiday. Holidays at Thomson’s Sensatori Resort in Crete will also be available from April onwards.

MORE AFFORDABLE WINTER HOLIDAYS

For the budget-conscious traveller, Thomson has introduced a range of ‘Winter Saver’ holidays which will be featured in Winter 2010/2011 brochures. In addition to the 50 properties included in the first editions, a further eight units have been added for the holidaymakers on a budget.

MORE FLEXIBLE DURATION HOLIDAYS WITH MORE UK DEPARTURES

Offering additional choice and flexibility, nine and 12 night holidays are now available in more destinations, including the Costa Del Sol, Costa Blanca, Sharm el Sheikh, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife, during winter 2010/2011.
